Here are some of our most recent initiatives!!
Canyon Dental Centre is proud to support Helping Families Handle Cancer. Helping Families is a not-for-profit organization specifically designed to aid families financially while they are dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis. Cancer creates an enormous strain on a family both emotionally and financially. Helping families aims to alleviate some of the stress by providing monetary support to those in need.
Canyon is sponsoring the first annual golf tournament on June 22nd at Heritage Point Golf Club.
Canyon Dental Centre also recently sponsored the Calgary Brain Tumor walk in support of the Canadian Brain Tumor foundation. Dr Graas lost her mom to a brain tumor when she was younger so supporting the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is near and dear to Canyon’s heart. This year’s run was on June 10th at Edworthy park!
Our team also supports the Battle of the Barracks annually. The Battle of the Barracks is a local CrossFit competition giving an amazing opportunity for local athletes to compete and test their fitness!
The team at Canyon is committed to ongoing support in our community. This year we hosted a collection for the Calgary Food Bank and the Women’s shelter. We also provide donations to many silent auctions for charities and local sports teams.
